Big Ideas for Owensboro was a 2008 program of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and was designed to collect and share ideas for the community. In all, more than 70 ideas were submitted and approved for the site. An "Idea of the Month" was chosen each month and named at the Chamber's Rooster Booster Breakfast.

The best ideas from January through September are now listed at right. Click to read them and leave comments. You can see all approved ideas by clicking on the Idea Central link.

The Chamber encourages any individual or groups to consider implementing these ideas. Several are new and exciting ideas that could help make Owensboro-Daviess County an even better community!
